Some love stories begin in grand, sweeping moments. Ours began in the middle of the pandemic with a screen, a Wi-Fi connection, and both of us who showed up to a first virtual date, in the middle of a world on pause, with a list of thoughtful questions. That was the moment something clicked.

What followed was not easy. Miles stretched between us, and we figured out quickly that love worth having is love worth working for. But slowly, and surely, we built something that distance could not touch.

Years have passed. In that time, we have grown together, learned each other, and somewhere along the way became home to one another. We've traveled the world, and experienced joy in different languages and cultures.

Then came a night in Southern California in December 2025. After a dinner perched above a canyon, a quiet sky full of stars, there was private moment that belonged only to us. He asked, and without a second thought, the answer was yes.

Because honestly, it had always been yes.
